Comprehensive Level 1 EMDR training

Online Delivery in 2 parts
Part A – Compulsory preparation modules completed prior to the live workshop
Part B – Two days live webinar on selected dates
Part A: Pre-workshop Preparation
- 8 hours of preparation is completed online prior to the live training.
- The compulsory learning modules consist of records lectures and reading material covering important concept foundations.
- These are completed through our online learning system, at your own pace and in your own time.
- A link to the online material will be sent 3 weeks prior to the live training and must be completed at least 48 hours before the live workshop.
Part B: Live Online Workshop
- 2 days of experiential learning and practice delivered live via Zoom.
- The focus is on building skills to enable you to safely provide EMDR to your clients.
- Participants work in small groups in private Zoom rooms and practice giving and receiving EMDR under supervision.
Required textbook
Participants must have access to a copy of the required text. Shapiro, F. (2018) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy: Basic Principles, Protocols, and Procedures (3rd Edition), Guilford Press: New York.
Cost: $546 + GST (This is the remaining payment after deposit paid to AASW)

- Participants must have registered and paid a deposit through AASW.

Dr. Jenny Dwyer is a mental health social worker nd child and family therapist. She is an experienced clinician, consultant and trainer.
