EMDR Specialised Training

Child and Adolescent

Level 1 EMDR training does not equip child therapists to use EMDR with younger clients. For therapists already working with children and adolescents, we provide training that covers essential adaptations across developmental stages. You don’t need to wait until Level 2 training. We believe that if you are already working with children, you can learn these adaptations effectively soon after Level 1. Our training is provided online and in-person throughout the year.

Refresher

Our Refresher training helps keep you up to date, build confidence and competence and extend your clinical decision-making skills. To refresh the 8 phases and essential theories of Level 1, you can access our brief on-demand module in your own time.

We also provide opportunities to attend live practice sessions in-person or online. These are offered regularly through our dedicated skills hub; or if you prefer, by doing Level 1 or 2 as a full refresher at a reduced cost. Contact our friendly admin team for these options.

EMDR Early Intervention

If you are an EMDR therapist, you need to know Early Intervention protocols. There are a range of situations where people want help with a specific traumatic event – climate disasters, accidents, workplace trauma, interpersonal violence. Jenny Dwyer specialises in early intervention and runs specialist projects and training in this area.
